"I made my first appointment and have not looked back (except to look at things with my newly flexible neck!). Dr. Herrera asks thoughtful questions to ensure he can custom-tailor a treatment plan and understands the perspective of patients who have had poor past experiences with chiropractors more interested in profit than your health. Rather than hooking you up to a machine and forgetting about you for 15 minutes, Herrera's philosophy involves participation exercises and adjustments based off of your feedback. This relationship-centered approach should be a model for all practitioners."

Meet Dr. Herrera
Hello everyone and Welcome to Redwood Family Chiropractic!
I’m Dr. Christopher Herrera and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I’m a Coastside native, raised in Montara, California, but quite familiar with the Peninsula as I attended Junipero Serra High School and San Mateo Junior College. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Sonoma State University. Baseball was my first love and passion during my youth and continued to be as I played baseball in high school and college. During my baseball years, I myself, benefited from Chiropractic care to help keep me healthy and on the playing field. I feel the benefits I received from Chiropractic care, helped my decision to pursue a career in Chiropractic. I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2009 and have been providing Chiropractic care since. In addition to traditional Chiropractic therapy, I have a strong background in Myofascial Release (soft tissue/muscle work), as well as injury specific therapy both for the surgical and nonsurgical patient. Whether you’re an athlete, weekend warrior or just a normal human being suffering from aches and pains, come in for a visit and let me help you get back to better health - the natural way.
Call us to make an appointment or just stop by - the door is always open. I look forward to meeting you and thanks for your time!
